I will be presenting “Making it to Level VIII after Brain Injury” (Session 66) on Saturday, March 19, at 9 am at the 2016 Speech-Language Hearing Association of Virginia (SHAV) Conference. As a TBI survivor and a speech-language pathologist, you know I’m passionate about my message and want to make a difference.
I’ve recorded my presentation and uploaded it to YouTube because I want to get feedback from other SLPs. Would you have time to take a look at it and let me know what you think? It’s about 50 minutes long, so if you can give me that much attention, I will be really, really grateful for your time!
Here’s an important editor’s note: Unfortunately, I had some trouble syncing the audio and video, so the slide transitions are sometimes too slow or too fast. And I had to cut some of my script in the later portion of the presentation just to make it work. Hmm. If I can get some help from one of my techie sons, I’ll redo it. In the meantime, I think you should still be able to get the message!
I look forward to receiving feedback from you! I would love to continue to polish this presentation and give it at other state Speech-Language Hearing Association gatherings. If you know a program planner in your state or with ASHA, please let them know about the availability of this and other programs from the perspective of the Brain-Injured SLP.
